WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!

Well Uma is passed out in a hospital with much needed help from an epidural. We came in last night because she was experiencing some very timely contractions but more so cause Chase/Emma had not moved very much and we were worried. They checked the baby and everything was fine, she was dilated to 3. They sent us home around midnight with an Ambian pill to help her sleep and relax. Around 3 contractions became very pronounced and very timely, about every 4 min. We stuck it out at the house for 2 hours to make sure and when she started crying during them we decided it was time. I made the best time driving from Baumholder to Landstuhl, only 22 min.
We arrived with the help of a nice Captain getting us a wheel chair, cause by this point she could not walk during a contraction. They checked her out and she was at 5 and so they admitted her. First they tried to give her phentanol for the pain but that only lasted about 45 min. and you could see the difference with the first contraction after it began to wear off. So we got her hooked up to the epidural and she is sleeping peacefully for the first time in days. Thank God for modern medicine!! I will try to keep you up to date. I myself am about to pass out also. Luckily we have her mother and our friend Ashley here to help out with everything. Keep her and the baby in your thoughts and prayers.
