Typical

Wil's surgery has been rescheduled. I knew things were moving a little too well. Even though it's now going to be 10 days later than the original date, but to me that's 10 days closer to the baby's arrival. Our neighbor downstairs just had her baby a couple of days ago, and her baby came at 37 weeks. She makes the third baby in our circle of friends to be born early these past couple of weeks. Now Wil will have a little over 9 weeks to recover after his surgery, if the baby decides to stay in for the whole 40 weeks. To say that I'm freaking out a little might be slightly understated.

On a happier note, we're babysitting our friends' puppy Tucker overnight. Wil is completely enamored with Tuck and vice versa. He can hold Tuck like a little baby and put him to sleep in about a minute. At least one of us knows what to do with babies of all species.
